Houses & Hair Loss
I've just got back from a lovely weekend with Rich and the girls at Primrose Valley, but sadly it's back to reality with a bump...
My house is growing mould and damp in the cellar, my landlord is not willing to get this fixed but has agreed for me to get out of my 12 month contract as sson as i can. I've not even been in this house 2 months yet and it looks like i'm moving again! ARGHHHH it could only happen to me.
2nd chemo session is on Friday and i'm now also house hunting as well as trying to scrape together cash for rent, bond, van hire etc. Who ever said life is no fun if it's easy weren't kidding were they?
Oh and the icing on the cake, my hair is starting to fall out in clumps, well the bit i've got anyway. At the caravan this morning i noticed i had a long hair, so i pulled it, it came out very easy and brought a handful out with it. Think the headscarves will be making an appearance soon, i'm going in the bath later and i've got a funny feeling it's going to result in me having bald patches and some tears!
I'm trying my hardest to gear myself up for Friday, but i'm not going to lie, i'm dreading it, just hoping and praying this one goes smoother than the last and i don't have an allergic reaction this time. It's knowing what to expect too this time, it knocked me off my feet for nearly 2 weeks and just as i'm coming round it's time to go through it all again.
I'm also taking 30mg Amitriptyline for Chemotherapy induced Peripheral Neuropathy.....All down my left leg from my knee to the tip of my toes is absolute agony, even my trousers touching it hurts, weight bearing is getting worse, and my nerves in that leg are now shot. Another joy to having chemo eh??
I've got a hospital appointment every day this week too, so at least i'm been kept busy!!
Going to do some more holiday washing now so i'll update you all soon.
