Turkey, Tits & Tattoos
Not updated for a while so thought I’d let you all know what’s been happening.
On the 4th June I went to Turkey with my mate, this was also 3 years since I was diagnosed, so halfway through the week I decided to get a tattoo to represent my journey.
So you got it, I had my cleavage tattooed! 4 and a half hours sat in the chair, not one drop of alcohol but a lot of swear words! IT LOOKS AMAZING!
The moon is to say…. New moon, new beginnings.
I saw the plastic surgeon last month and we decided I was going to have a year off from surgery, as it was taking its toll on my body and my mind. I need a break from been chopped up.
I am due to see him again in 12 months’ time, but if I change my mind before then I can always get in touch and he will see me and we can make a new plan of attack. He said before the last operation that it was a lot more complicated than he had originally thought so it was better to do little operations at a time. I know exactly know how many more surgery’s I’ve gotta have but I knew I definitely needed a break.
Then this week I saw the oncologist for the 12 month check-up, all good in the clear boob department however, I’ve gotta start back on the Zolidex injections as my periods have returned and obviously that means I’m now producing oestrogen. Which because the cancer was oestrogen positive, we don’t want that!
So starting next Wednesday I’ve gotta get used to the 4 weekly pricks again!
Thanks again to all of you for taking the time to read this blog and to share it. My view count so far is now 108516. That is way more than I could ever have imagined back in 2015 when I started this journey with you all. I truly thank you from the bottom of my heart for staying with me.
